WARDOGS Patch Notes and Updates

WARDOGS patch notes hub. Early Access starts September 10, 2026; this page will track every patch and balance change with verified dates and official sources.

WARDOGS, the 100-player tactical All-Out Warfare FPS from developer BULKHEAD and publisher Team17, launches into Steam Early Access on September 10, 2026. This page is the wiki’s permanent patch notes hub: once BULKHEAD starts shipping updates, every patch, hotfix, and balance change will be logged here with a verified date and a link back to the official announcement.

Current Status: Pre-Early Access

There are no WARDOGS patches yet. The game has not launched, so there is no version history to record, no balance pass to summarize, and no hotfix to document. Anything claiming to list “WARDOGS patch notes” before September 10, 2026 is either about a closed playtest build or is fabricated.

What is confirmed for the Early Access launch:

  • 37 weapons and 21 vehicles, including helicopters
  • 3 maps with 3 variations each
  • 100 players across 3 teams, fighting over a randomized 2×2 km Control Zone
  • A persistent cash economy: everyone starts with $10,000 and buys a fresh loadout each deployment
  • Destruction, building, and proximity voice chat

BULKHEAD has also stated that Early Access will keep expanding weapons, vehicles, maps, and progression — which means this page will stay busy. For date details, see the release date page.

Official Sources of Record

When patches start shipping, these channels publish them first. We verify against them before updating any wiki page:

The r/WarDogs subreddit is a useful early-warning radar for issues players are hitting after a patch, but it is a community source — we treat it as a lead, never as confirmation.

How This Wiki Verifies Updates

Every article on this wiki carries an evidence badge in its header: a status field (confirmed, pre-release, or community-reported) and a lastVerified date showing when the claims were last checked against an official source. Patch coverage follows the same policy:

  1. A patch is logged here only after it appears on an official channel, with the date it shipped.
  2. Affected wiki pages — weapons, vehicles, mechanics, loadouts — get their lastVerified date bumped only after the change is confirmed in game or in official notes.
  3. Playtest-only changes and community rumors are labeled as such or omitted entirely.

What to Expect After Launch

Expect the Early Access launch window to be the most update-dense period: day-one fixes, balance tuning on the 37-weapon arsenal, and vehicle adjustments are the norm for large-scale shooters. Each significant patch will get a dated entry here summarizing what changed, and affected database pages will be re-verified within days — the Loadout Builder prices included.

Bookmark this page and check the lastVerified badge on any article you rely on. If a page’s verification date predates the latest patch listed here, treat its numbers with caution until we re-check them.
